Those not wanting to wait for a group of carolers to come and spread holiday cheer can head to several local schools in the coming weeks for some special concerts.

First up, the Schaumburg High School Music Department will present its 34th-Annual Holiday Dinner Concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Trillium Room at Indian Lakes Resort, 250 W. Schick Road in Bloomingdale.

Schaumburg High School concert director Tim McGlynn said the atmosphere, music, and food create a magical concert that is unique for the area.
