Audience: The publisher recommends grades 6-8 for struggling readers, special-needs students, and ESL students in classroom or pull-out situations, as well as other students.

The reviewer finds that the program seems especially good for situations in which students need reading work with a minimum of teacher supervision. Thinking Reader would work well with adequate and strong readers in classrooms or computer labs--and probably older students, as well.

Minimum System Requirements: Windows platform only: 359 MHz Pentium, Windows 98, 64 MB RAM required (128 recommended), 160 MB hard disk space if installed on a single computer, and monitor with 800 x 600 resolution.
