Hiring minors: it's not as easy as you think.

Not long ago, paperboys rode the streets delivering the morning paper to your home. With the skill and grace that only comes from experience, they would ride their Stingrays along the sidewalk and competently toss the paper directly onto your doorstep. At the end of each month they would come to your door to collect the cost of the delivered papers on their route. In those days, you got to know your paperboy. You knew he was working hard delivering those papers at 5:30 in the morning because he was saving his money for the purchase of something important--perhaps his first car. You felt a connection to the young entrepreneur who learned responsibility at a young age and made you proud of such young kids. You tipped him when you could and gave him something special during the holidays. Those days are gone. Nowadays, the person delivering your newspaper is an adult. Usually, completely unknown to you. They drive by and flip your paper onto the edge of your driveway, just across the sidewalk. Your bill comes in...
