HOOGLEDE, BELGIUM - Deceuninck NV has launched a four-line profile extrusion plant in Serpuchov, Russia, to serve the country's rapidly growing PVC window market.

The new facility, which is starting with 80 workers, is near Moscow. The Deceuninck Rus OOO plant has an annual capacity of 15 million pounds, according to the Hooglede-based parent.

Deceuninck considers Russia a "highly important growth market,'' and already has established an extensive Russian commercial network based in Moscow, with sales offices in St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Ekaterinenburg and Novosibirsk. It has another sales unit in the neighboring state of Kazakhstan.
