CORVALLIS - He completed 32-of-43 passes for 436 yards and one touchdown.

But six of Matt Moore's 11 incompletions were interceptions, one short of equaling an Oregon State single-game record.

"I'd like to leave out that last stat," OSU football coach Mike Riley said on Sunday, a day after the Beavers had taken a 29-27 hit from Arizona in a Pac-10 Conference game at Reser Stadium.

That stat - and the fact that the junior transfer from UCLA has been intercepted a league-high 18 times (16 in the last five games) - remains.
