It'll be another November starting with another game against California, just like last season did for Oregon. The comparison can end right there, Justin Phinisee strongly suggested.

`Last year doesn't exist to me,' the UO senior cornerback said. `I can't even remember a game I played last year, I was so upset.

`It's a whole new game this year. We're focused, we're ready to go, we're playing ball, we're loving each other and having fun out there so as far as comparing it to last year, I wouldn't even take the time to do it.'

OK, and there's also this: The 15th-ranked Ducks (7-1 overall, 4-1 in the Pac-10) will have a new starting quarterback for Saturday's visit to Autzen Stadium by the 23rd-ranked Golden Bears (6-2, 3-2) with sophomore Dennis Dixon replacing the injured Kellen Clemens.
