SPRINGFIELD - The bride wore white - white bed sheets she had stitched together herself. A black spiderweb veil helped conceal the long scar across her neck. Streaks of white blazed up her electrified bouffant hair, and she sported a red spider ring on her right hand.

The groom dressed in black and shuffled around in shoes boosted with 6-inch risers. Bolts protruded from either side of his neck, and his skin took on a pale green hue.

It was an affair to dismember.
