You probably missed it because the Chicago White Sox were about to play a World Series game, but the organization's most famous ex- player was on network TV fielding some softball questions about his past.

I'm talking about Michael Jordan, who (despite the World Series win) will always be Jerry Reinsdorf's most popular hired hand.

Jordan played baseball for the White Sox organization in 1994, during an unusual, temporary hiatus from his real job with Reinsdorf's primary business, the Chicago Bulls.

Jordan's sabbatical from basketball came at the pinnacle of his NBA career and coincided with serious questions about his gambling.
