Aside from how well Batavia students score on standardized tests, the district fares well compared to others across the state in many other areas.

Superintendent Ed Cave talked about a variety of data - from graduation rates to ratio of staff to students - released as part of the state board of education report card at last week's school board meeting.

Taken from the 2004-2005 school year, Batavia district's graduation rate of 94.4 percent remains above the state average while the dropout rate of less than 1 percent is below the state average.
