The local ABU DHABI GAS INDUSTRIES LTD. (GASCO) which is responsible for processing Abu Dhabi's onshore natural gas reserves is planning to invest $4,000,000,000 in order to expand its facilities during the next 3 years. This will include Habshan, one of the country's largest gas fields. In so doing, the company is aiming to increase its production output from the current 5 billion cubic feet per day (bcf/d) up to 7 bcf/d).
