Babatunde Oluwasegun Temitope Oluwakorede Adisa Oshinowo Jr. is among the first generation of his family not born in Nigeria.

His grandfather is a chief in his native country, and when Oshinowo himself finally has a chance to visit Nigeria, he too will be accorded the respect owed a chief. Until then, consider Oshinowo one of Oregon's chief concerns Saturday when the Ducks play at Stanford in a 2 p.m. game.

It isn't just that Oshinowo, 6-feet-2 and surprisingly agile at 320 pounds, is one of the best defensive tackles in the Pac-10 Conference. In Stanford's 3-4 front, Oshinowo is one of the few true nose tackles the Ducks will face this season, usually lining up directly over the center.
