There's a sour question that might be chanted back and forth tonight between Neuqua Valley's rabid football fans and their counterparts from Waubonsie Valley, both of whom will invade North Central College's Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium.

Who's your daddy?

In the brief history of the rivalry, Neuqua Valley's 5-1 domination of its more tenured opponent has put a different spin on the game between sister schools.

"Around town, District 204, Neuqua's been the big brother, actually, even though we're the big brother," said Waubonsie Valley senior Larry Russell, who as a three-year starting running back for the Warriors enters tonight not only with a No. 2 on his football jersey but with an 0-2 mark in the big game.

"They've been the big brother, beating us every year," Russell said. "We have a little underdog under our belt."

There's a big dog, too, at Waubonsie Valley.
