In 2001, when Ron Berry started his own small business, TSC Restoration, Inc., he set out to show the bigger companies that good customer service still matters more than size.
Today, that attitude and lots of sweat have resulted in steady growth. TSC Restoration's revenues rose from $8.4 million in 2003 to $10 million to $11 million in 2004, and Berry sees that trend continuing.
"I've worked for another large company and the one thing that was missing was customer service," said Berry, owner and president of TSC Restoration, a Santee-based full-service company that specializes in restoring homes or businesses hit by flood, fire or mold and other disasters.
"I knew if I started my own company with great customer service, I could be very successful," he said.
