Hudson Valley Hospital Center's new "no-wait" emergency room makes it the first hospital in Westchester County to dramatically change, its services in that department, but other hospitals in the county are also planning similar changes to improve their ERs.

"We "all share the goal of minimizing any waiting period per patient," said Joel Seligman, president and chief executive officer of Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco.
