The Arlington Heights Senior Center is hopping with a variety of activities this summer to keep cool - but at the same time, stay active.

Highlighting the summer is the senior center's patio activities - like the ice cream social from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. July 20.

Also on the patio is a newcomer's social with bands, ice cream and free admission, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 20.
