It took a little longer than expected, but Landmark National Bank completed its acquisition of Legacy Bank on July 15 following approval by both banks' shareholders.

The deal, first announced in April, already had regulators' blessing and for good reason: Legacy Bank was a poorly performing bank and had operated without a CEO for more than a year.

The stock transaction calls for Legacy shareholders to get between 0.78 and 0.81...
