Thank you for the June race issue. It's so satisfying to read socially and politically interesting articles. As a young girl I bought DANCE MAGAZINE to be inspired by the pictures; now as an adult some of the articles have relevance to my life.

I am a Caucasian dancer performing kathak. I am fortunate enough to have a dance guru, Chitresh Das, who believes in the power of kathak to transform lives and people.
