Three local men are facing federal charges of violating civil rights by throwing stones through windows at Temple Beth Israel in Eugene, disrupting a service attended by 80 worshippers almost three years ago.

One of the men, 25-year-old Jacob Albert Laskey of Springfield, also is charged with six counts related to attempts to intimidate witnesses, one count of trying to arrange a bomb threat in a federal building where the grand jury was meeting to investigate the crimes, and one of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
