1. Information

Defence Ministers will hold informal meetings in Berlin, Germany, on Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 September 2005, under the chairmanship of the NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer. The Minister of Defence of Germany, His Excellency Dr. Peter Struck, will host the meetings.

2. Locations

The Hotel Intercontinental Berlin, Budapester Str. 2 is the venue for the ministerial sessions.

The Media Centreis located across the street, in the Dorint Sofitel Schweizerhof Hotel, Budapester Str.25.

The Media Accreditation Officeis located in the Crowne Plaza Berlin Hotel, Nurnberger Str. 65, within walking distance of the Media Centre.
