Rodolfo Hernandez is Mexican by birth, Italian by trade. For 16 years he has worked in Italian restaurants, starting at 14 as a dishwasher at Bice Ristorante in Chicago and working his way up through the line to chef.

After nine years at Bice, where he helped open restaurants in San Diego and Miami, he worked at Salvatore's in Bloomingdale and Cristiano's Ristorante in Palatine. For the past 10 months, he has been the chef at I Gemelli ("the twins") in Addison. He lives in Chicago.
