Piovan SpA to unveil drying equipment

Italian auxiliary equipment maker Piovan SpA will display its new PET drying equipment at the PETpoint show, to be held Sept. 12-17 in Munich, Germany.

Piovan drying hoppers dry PET resin so the temperature of the air leaving the hopper is at a level that does not require cooling.

The controller manages all functions, including feeding, heating, drying, mold conditioning and masterbatch dosing. Piovan said that means the system uses the lowest possible amount of energy - using the Automatic Energy Management...
