What's the more difficult assignment, obtaining an interview with Blake Stepp or figuring out what fate awaits the the former all-state player from South Eugene in today's NBA draft?

Stepp has proven as much of a challenge for the media as he was to opponents during his four-year career at Gonzaga, where he was twice named West Coast Conference player of the year and this season was a second-team all-American selection.

`He's not doing interviews at this time,' said a spokesman for Priority Sports, which represents Stepp.
