DMC finds a King for court of public opinion

The Detroit Medical Center last week said it had named Emery King, former WDIV-Channel 4 anchor, as its communications director.

King joined the DMC a month ago and will be the principal spokesman for the DMC.

"This is truly an honor to bring Emery's media expertise, leadership and knowledge of the community into our health system,'' Mike Duggan, DMC president and CEO, said in a statement. "I am confident that he will help us find the rich stories that lie within our system and share them with the world.''
