In Hanoi's Thanh Cong commune, Ba Dinh street, a young couple on a motorcycle stop by the side of the road and find a large number of new CDs in plastic baskets placed on the pavement.
"This is great, I can buy the latest movies or music from this modest CD shop," the girl told Vietnam Investment Review.
She quickly chose five CDs, among which were "Female Robber" and "Far Behind the Past", two famous Vietnamese movies currently showing in cinemas.
"At only VNDV,000 per CD, or VND10,000 for two, I can see these latest films without going to the cinema. Apart from that, I can also lend them to relatives or friends," she added.
