Stanley Kramer's interracial-romance film "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" stars Sidney Poitier as a black doctor who meets his white, prospective in-laws (Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn) during an emotional dinner. The story was controversial at the time of its release in the 1960s; for 2005, it has been remade as a comedy.
