Michael Andrews
JUNCTION CITY - A memorial service will be held Aug. 13 for Michael Todd "Mike" Andrews of Junction City, who died July 17 of liver disease due to alcoholism. He was 39.
Andrews was born Sept. 18, 1965, in Washington, D.C., to John and Marlene Walline Andrews.
A longtime resident of Lane County, he graduated from Churchill High School in 1983. He worked at the former North Bank restaurant in Eugene from 1982 to 1999, starting as a dishwasher and eventually becoming a chef.
Andrews enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends. He was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers since childhood and of the University of Oregon Ducks.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Marlene and Ed Crane of Junction City; two brothers, Jeff Andrews of Eugene and Curtis Crane of Springfield; and a sister, Pattee...
