Eugene's Sam Rowan and North Bend's Denise Green won state championships at the Oregon Swimming 11-and-over Long Course Championships, which continued Friday at Amazon Pool.

Green, swimming for South Coast Athletic Team, finished first in the girls 15-16 age division's 100-meter backstroke in 1 minute, 9.66 seconds.
Rowan, a 14-year-old from Eugene City Swim Club, won the 11-14 boys 1,500 freestyle in 18:17.32.
Crystal Kibby, a 13-year-old from Bearcat Swim Club in Salem, has three state titles with two days remaining in the four-day meet. She won the 1,500 freestyle in the girls 11-14 division, the 400 freestyle in the 13 division and the 200 breaststroke in the 11-13 division.
Tori Simenec, Kibby's Bearcat teammate, won three titles of her own, taking the girls 12 division's 400 freestyle, 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly.
