Food distributor FRANK J. CATANZARO SONS AND DAUGHTERS INC. acquired rival HMI FOODSERVICE, Cincinnati, and its CINCINNATI GOURMET MEATS subsidiary. The acquisition expands Catanzaro, which started as a produce distributor, into meat processing. The combined companies will offer more than 9,000 products to more than 2,600 customers in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Cantanzaro had fiscal 2003 sales of $52 million ...
