Open space is vanishing too fast

Thanks to the Daily Herald for covering those stories relating to concerns surrounding the proposed development of land in the counties that your newspaper serves.

The degree of proposed development of what remains of our open space and farmland in this area and the current rate of development in progress this year has been so overwhelming that it has become disturbing and should be looked upon with great concern by all the residents of the townships affected.

We cannot ignore what is happening to our open space and our beautiful farmland any longer, nor can we allow so much of it to disappear while we sleep.
