A couple of months ago I reviewed Version 4.5 of Bowne DecisionQuest 's CaseMap, a very integrated database designed to enable the user to "connect the dots" and see the patterns that become evident once all of the facts (and documents and events and people and legal principles) involved in the case are entered and interconnected. This week I'll concentrate on the latest version of TimeMap, an independent program that can be effectively used as a CaseMap add-on, to develop a timeline of known pieces of data. The timeline makes a wonderful visual aid when telling your story to the trier of fact, but sometimes just looking at such a timeline clarifies just what really happened.
