Colin Service Systems Inc., an office-cleaning business in White Plains, has been bought by a San Francisco company, which will retain the local company's management, the former owner says.

ABM Industries Inc. bought Colin Service Systems for more than $13.6 million on Dec. 22. Only 12 of more than 3,000 employees of Colin Service will be laid off as a result of the move, said Larry H. Colin, chief executive officer of the company.
