Worker OK after fall, shock:

A maintenance worker for West Chicago Community High School was expected to be hospitalized overnight for observation after he received an electric shock Wednesday morning in the school cafeteria and fell off a 6-foot ladder. Ralph Michalek of Shabbona told school officials he was OK but was taken to Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield as a precaution, said school Administrator Dan McCarthy. Michalek was reconnecting power in the cafeteria's ceiling. He is expected to be released today.
