Article Excerpt May/June 2005 Horn Book
Congratulations-plus on the extraordinary special issue, "Poets & Poetry." Since I have been a lifelong advocate of poetry for youth, I was elated to see such recognition afforded to the genre. In addition to the insightful articles, the eighteen original verses will be treasured for years to come.
Thank you from the bottom of my poetic-heart for this gift.

I am hoping for more and more poetry in the Horn Book. My craving knows no bounds.
