...Oklahoma, Technology, Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Karta Technologies, San Antonio, Texas, Manufacturing Technology, Fort Walton, Fla., Northrop Grumman, Fairfax, Va.; Southwest Research Institute, San Antonio, Texas; and Support Systems Associates, Melbourne, Fla. is being awarded a $1,900,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide for Engineering and technical services in support of the Design and Engineering Support Program II to support all AFMC weapon systems, subsystems, and related processes.

The Design and Engineering Support Program II contracts will address technical areas such as: Laboratory Services, Technical Documentation, Courseware Development, Systems Design, Engineering, Development, software/Firmware, Maintenance, Repair, Operational Support, Process Modeling, Analysis, Re-Engineering, Environmental, Health, and Safety. The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to maximum amount indicated above, though actual requirements may necessitate less than the amount above. At this time, $50,000 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete by June 2012.

Solicitation began October 2004 and negotiations were completed May 2005. The Headquarters Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (FA8222-05-D-0001, 0010).

ARMY

Stewart & Stevenson Tactical Vehicle System L.P., Sealy, Texas, was awarded on June 28, 2005, a $219,146,920 modification to a firm-fixed-price and cost-reimbursement contract for the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicle Trucks and Trailers. Work will be performed in Sealy, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Nov. 15, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year....
