The Blackhawks will answer more than one of their key post- lockout questions today at a United Center press conference.

Not only will Dale Tallon formally take over as general manager from Bob Pulford, the Hawks are expected to announce that coach Brian Sutter's contract will not be renewed for another season.

It's not known if the Hawks will name a successor to Sutter today.

A leading candidate for the job would be Trent Yawney, who has spent the past five seasons coaching the Hawks' Norfolk American Hockey League affiliate. Another strong candidate might be assistant coach Bruce Cassidy, a former head coach with the Washington Capitals.
