When Naperville residents Noelle and Jon Dupuis went house shopping, they wanted to move someplace that would give them a small town feeling.

"We were originally thinking about moving to St. Charles," said Noelle, a 28-year-old special education teacher. "But then we learned about Cambridge Lakes through the Internet."

Cambridge Lakes is located in Pingree Grove, west of Randall Road. With a population of about 132 people, Pingree Grove is definitely small, but not for long.

More than 2,000 homes are planned for the Cambridge Lakes development alone. And many other builders are rushing to create their own huge developments west of the Fox...
