"Deadly Immunity," a news story by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., alleges our government and pharmaceutical companies covered up evidence that childhood vaccines may have caused autism.

That isn't news to Brandy Krupa, president of the Schaumburg- based Northwest Suburban Chapter of the Autism Society of America (www.autism-society.org).

Krupa still has a shirt from the first national autism awareness rally in 2000 that reads, "My kid got autism from vaccines, and all I got was this lousy T-shirt."

The Kennedy story - a joint investigation by Salon and Rolling Stone magazines that appeared June 16 on the Web site www.salon.com - has created a buzz. The mainstream medical community repeats denials...
