HYUNDAI MOTOR, BANK OF CHINA AGREE TO BOOST FINANCIAL TIES

SEOUL - Hyundai Motor Group. (KSE:005380), South Korea's top automaking conglomerate, agreed Thursday to step up financial cooperation with the Bank of China, a leading Chinese lender, the group said.

The agreement calls for the bank to provide immediate financial support to Hyundai's Chinese operations when they need funds, group officials said.
