The list of inductees into the Junior Achievement Mississippi Business Hall of Fame grows each year as more outstanding, highly-respected business leaders join the elite ranks. Past laureates are never really past even though they retire or change career affiliations. Even after leaving this earth, they leave behind legacies to help and inspire others.

One of the retirees, Jerry St. Pd of Pascagoula, is busier than ever since leaving Ingalls Shipbuilding in 2001. Long recognized as an industrial and economic development leader, he now serves as chairman of the Mississippi Gaming Commission.
