It scarcely seems possible, but three years have passed since the Melville Society Cultural Project was affiliated with the New Bedford Whaling Museum. This affiliation will be renewed shortly under a five-year, rather than the previous three-year agreement. Much has happened in the last three years!

The original collections that comprised the Melville Society Archive consist of 800 volumes from Harrison Hayford and 275 volumes from Merton M.
