Today's paper was supposed to be all about Burlington Central and St. Edward playing in Class A supersectionals.

The Rockets had two chances Saturday to make it to a Sweet Sixteen, but their baseball and softball teams lost heartbreakers in Byron that ended within 30 seconds of each other.

St. Edward's baseball team played Montini as tough as one possibly could but fell 2-1.

So that left Monday, Memorial Day, with no "local" sports for the first time in, well, a long long time.
