North elevates assistant

to top volleyball job

North Eugene has promoted Todd Bennett to head volleyball coach.

Bennett was an assistant at North Eugene from 1993-96 and then returned last season to assist Dale Weigandt, who resigned after the season to start the volleyball program at Northwest Christian College. The Highlanders went 1-15 last season.

"I'm very excited," Bennett said. "The potential that we have with up and coming kids, the future is bright for us.
