A retirement open house honoring veteran Eugene School District teacher Mike Temple will be held Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at Holt Elementary School, 770 Calvin St. Temple has worked in the district for 38 years, 15 at Twin Oaks, 22 at Washington and one year at Holt.
