CLEVELAND, May 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The board of directors of OM Group, Inc. announced today that it has named Joseph M. Scaminace as the company's president and chief executive officer. Scaminace, 52, who will also join the company's board of directors, succeeds James P. Mooney, 57, who stepped down as the company's chief executive officer in January 2005. Frank E. Butler, 69, the company's interim chief executive officer since January, will return to his post as non-executive chairman of the board.
