SUNNYVALE, Calif., May 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SST (Silicon Storage Technology, Inc., Nasdaq: SSTI), a leader in flash memory technology, today announced serial flash memory support of Intel(R) Corporation's new Intel 82573E LAN chipset featuring Intel Active Management Technology (Intel AMT), and Intel 945 Express chipset family with Intel 82801GB and 82801GR I/O Controller Hub. SST's 4-Mbit SST25LF040A and 8-Mbit SST25LF080A nonvolatile serial flash devices are a key enabling technology for companies wanting to implement Intel AMT for increased network management. The SST devices also provide designers of Intel 945 Express chipset-based systems with a BIOS solution that supports advanced capabilities and increased functionality in high-end notebooks, desktop PCs and servers.
