BILOXI -- Not even the widely-popular Atkins Diet's disdain for bread can halt the growth of Sue Le Nguyen's Le Bakery, where New Orleans style French bread is the hottest thing going. The 28-year old daughter of Vietnamese refugees opened her small bakery on Oak Street in East Biloxi April 1, 2002.

"If I can get people in here to taste my bread, they'll be back," she said of the French baguettes that are wonderfully crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. "Around here there is such a big tradition of eating good bread."

Nguyen, whose official name is Sue Le Nguyen-Brown since her marriage to Chris Brown in 2001, said she knew there was a need for this kind of bread because several Biloxi businesses were bringing it...
