Barrington showed junior starting pitcher Billy Chapman a lot of glove Friday afternoon.

The Mid-Suburban West leading Broncos (20-6, 9-3) played errorless defense as they swept their six baseball crossovers with a 9-5 win over East co-leader Prospect (17-7, 6-5) at Kirby Smith Field.

Prospect senior Matt Davis hit a grand slam with two out in the seventh inning to give him homers in five consecutive games. For the second straight season the Eastern Kentucky-bound shortstop has 8 homers to share the school record with Derek Owens (1999).
