Are you being stalked by a number, like in the situation above? Not just any number, but the number 11? If you are, then you are experiencing the strange 11:11 phenomenon. It is one that defies all logic. Everyday, millions of people are mysteriously propelled to look at the time at exactly 11 minutes past the hour. And the numbers show up wherever they go.

Here, some 'Eleveners' share their stories:

Ashit, from New Delhi, India said: 'On November 11 2003, I met with a minor accident. The medical expenses totalled Rs. 11,111, and the hospital's address was 111. The numbers have never left me since! In April, the doctor I visited was seeing patients in Room 1111. Surprised, I thought, "Okay, what's the message?" but I brushed it off as coincidence. Later that day at a bookstore, I picked up a book and randomly opened a page to read. Right there was an explanation for the 11:11! Thunderstruck, I read on ... the book said seeing 11:11 was a spiritual awakening. I left the bookstore, my scientific mind trying to comprehend the bizarre coincidence. Suddenly, I heard a woman say, "Okay, what's the message?" The same words that had crossed my mind earlier! The woman was in her car, talking to someone. My eyes were drawn to her car number, DL-3C-1111!'
