ATLANTA -- A.D.A.M., Inc. (Nasdaq:ADAM):

Highlights:

--Revenues for the quarter ended March 31, 2005 were $2,338,000, up 34% from the year ago period. Revenues from healthcare increased 33% year over year while revenues from education increased 124%

--Deferred revenue increased to $3,834,000 as of March 31, 2005 from $2,656,000 the year prior, an increase of 44%

--Net income for the quarter ended March 31, 2005 was $508,000, or $0.06 per share on a fully diluted basis as compared to $224,000, or $0.03 per share on a fully diluted basis for the year ago period

--Cash and investments totaled $8,668,000 as of March 31, 2005, an increase of $1,700,000 from $6,968,000 as of December 31, 2004
