Having a flood force a temporary closure along with costly repairs could deliver a fatal blow to many restaurants.
But within a couple of days, passers-by could read a placard declaring, "The Fish Market Will Open Tuesday! Nice Try Isabel!"
A key to its recovery was a $250,000 federal emergency disaster assistance loan.
